B.Sc Nursing (Basic Guidelines):
- Objective-type multiple-choice questions will be asked in the entrance exam.
- Applicants will get question papers in English to solve for the entrance exam.
- A maximum of 100 questions will be asked in the entrance exam.
- Applicants will get two hours to solve the exam paper.
- There is no provision for negative markings in the entrance exam.
- The question paper of the entrance exam will consist of a maximum of 100 marks.

Admit Card
B.Sc Nursing/ M.Sc Nursing
- The official university authorities will update the admit card. Applicants will get the admit Card on the university’s official website a few days before the entrance exam date.
- Admit cards contain the applicant’s basic details, such as name, roll number, date of birth, exam date, time, venue, centre, etc. Applicants are instructed to keep the admit card safe until the time of the admission procedure.
- The admit card must be downloaded from the website. Some copies should be taken. Applicants need to hold an admit Card during the entrance exam.
Result
B.Sc Nursing / M.Sc Nursing
- The admit card applicants will get the results online on the university’s official website.
- Applicants need to use their roll number and date of birth to download the result from the website.
- Applicants are instructed to keep the results safely and securely till the time of admission procedure.
- The result is an important document that contains all the information related to the marks achieved in the exam.
Counselling
B.Sc Nursing
- Applicants who have scored well in the exam must attend the counselling round for admission.
- The official authorities will conduct the counselling round for the applicants, which will be performed after the results are declared.
- Applicants appearing for the counselling are instructed to be present in person for the counselling round. In the counselling, round authorities will allot seats to the applicants.
- Once the seats are allotted to the applicants, they must report to the allotted college for confirmation and all necessary documents.
M.Sc Nursing
Applicants will not receive any separate call letters for the counselling round.
Official authorities will conduct a counselling session for the applicants to provide admission to the qualified applicants.
However, official authorities will admit applicants based on the merit list, filled choices, and seats available.
The Director of Medical Education and Research, H. P., Shimla – 9, will conduct the counselling session for the eligible applicants. The dates, time and venue for the counselling session and another counselling schedule will be updated on the university’s official website for the applicants’ reference.
