Minimum education: a. 10+2 Class passed Science (PGB) & English with an aggregate of 40% marks preferably. b. 10+2 in Arts (Mathematics, Biotechnology, Economics, Political Sciences, History, Geography, Business Studies, Accountancy, Home Science Sociology, Psychology, and Philosophy) and English Core/English Elective or Science or Health Science Vocational stream only passing out from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board with 40% marks. c. 10+2 vocational ANM under CBSE Board or other equivalent board from the school and recognized by the Indian Nursing council with 40% marks The student shall be medically fit. Students qualified in 10+2 Arts or Science examination of health care science- the vocational stream only conducted by the national institute of open school with 40& marks. |
GNM | They must have passed the Higher Secondary or Senior Secondary, Intermediate or 10+2, or an equivalent examination recognized by the university for this purpose. Those who did 10+1 in or before 1986 will be eligible for admission. Students must obtain a General Nursing and Midwifery certificate and be registered as R.N.R.M. with the State Nurses Registration Council. B.Sc. Nursing | 10+2 class passed with Science (PCB) & English Core/English Elective with an aggregate of 45% marks from recognized board under AISSCE/CBSE/ICSE/SSCE/HSCE or other equivalent Board. Students appear in the 10+2 Science examination conducted by the National Institute of Open School with 45% marks. The student shall be medically fit. |

Eligibility Criteria for Men
A male candidate must have been trained before the A male nurse trained before the implementation of the new integrated course besides being registered as a Nurse with the State Nurse Registration Council, shall produce training approved by the Indian Nursing Council for similar instead of midwifery in any one of the following areas:
