Regional Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences & Technology (RIPSAT)
The Regional Institute of Pharmaceutical Science and Technology (RIPSAT) was established at Agartala during 1979 with the financial assistance of NEC (North Eastern Council) to cater Diploma course in Pharmacy (D.Pharm) throughout the North Eastern States. Subsequently, the Institute had upgraded into Bachelor in Pharmacy (B.Pharm) course in addition to D.Pharm course. Admission Process
B Pharma:
- For admission to the Pharmacy courses, the student must have passed class 12th with Physics, Chemistry & Mathematics/Biology.
- Students have to secure a min of 50% marks in the qualifying examination.
- Students, those pass the 3-year (D.Pharm) are also eligible.
M Pharma:
- The admission process may vary from institute to institute.
- Most of the colleges or Institutions intake students on the basis of marks scored in GPAT.
- After that, they have to undergo vigorous counselling and personal interview.
- Some of the colleges select students on the basis of merit i.e, the marks obtained in one’s bachelor’s degree in the same field.

D Pharma:
