The Central University of Himachal Pradesh was established under the Central Universities Act 2009 enacted by the Parliament. The University is funded and regulated by the University Grants Commission (UGC). The University became functional with the assumption of charge by the first Vice-Chancellor on 20th January 2010.

Admission Procedure

- Candidates may apply through the prescribed application form duly filled in all respects.
- Admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by the Central University of Himachal Pradesh is based on any one of the all-Indian Common Admission Tests i.e. CUET UG, CUET PG and other entrance exams & must submit valid test scores not more than 2 years old.
- The upper age limit is 30 years from the date of commencement of the program.
Eligibility Criteria
To be eligible for admission into the university’s undergraduate, postgraduate, and diploma courses candidates need to meet eligibility criteria set by the Central University of Himachal Pradesh. We have listed the eligibility criteria in the table below.
