Central University of Karnataka was established by an Act of the Parliament of India in 2009, “The Central Universities Act, 2009”. It is one of the 16 new Central Universities established by the Government of India. The University has a 654-acre campus, situated near Kadaganchi village in the district of Kalaburagi, Karnataka. The university holds the approval from the University Grants Commission (UGC) and is accredited by the National Assessment and Accreditation with a ‘B++’ grade.

- Candidates may apply through the prescribed application form duly filled in all respects.
- Admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by Central University of Karnataka is based on any one of the all-India Common Admission Tests i.e. CUET UG or CUET PG and other entrance exams & submit valid test scores not more than 2 years old.
- The applications of the candidates not have a valid score in the entrance exam will not be entertained.
