Delhi Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research University India’s first pharmacy university and the third worldwide, was established by Delhi’s State Legislature in 2008 and became fully operational in 2015. With roots dating back 57 years, it evolved from a D. Pharm. program in 1964 to the Delhi Institute of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research (DIPSAR) before becoming DPSRU. The university, fully state-funded and UGC-recognized, is governed by the General Council with the Lt. Governor as Chancellor and supported by a Board of Governors, Academic Council and Finance Committee that includes distinguished external members.

B. Pharm Lateral Entry85% seats will be reserved for those who have passed D. Pharm from DPSRU. 15% seats will be open to other institutes from Delhi or outside from an institution approved by the Pharmacy Council of India under section 12 of the Pharmacy Act as per regulation 4. B. of the Bachelor of Pharmacy course Regulations, 2014 (Subject to approval of DHE).
B. Sc. Biomedical ScienceThe candidate must have passed 10+2 with 55% or more marks in the aggregate of Physics, Chemistry, Biology/ Biotechnology/ Biochemistry with 50% or more marks in compulsory language, i.e., English.
