Admission Procedure for Basic B.Sc. Nursing as per INC Norms
- Age Requirement:
- The minimum age for admission shall be 17 years on or before 31st December 2023.
- Educational Requirements:
- The candidate must have passed the 10+2 examination with Physics, Chemistry, Biology, and English as subjects.
- The candidate must have obtained a minimum of 45% marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together in the qualifying examination.
- For candidates belonging to SC/ST or other backward classes, the minimum required marks in Physics, Chemistry, and Biology taken together are 40%.
- English is a compulsory subject in the 10+2 examination for eligibility.
- Medical Fitness:
- The candidate shall be medically fit.
Entrance / Selection Test
- Selection Criteria:
- The selection of candidates will be based on merit in the entrance examination conducted by Vidyapeeth.
- Entrance Test Composition:
- The entrance test will comprise the following subjects with the respective marks:

Eligibility Criteria
- Professional Experience:
- Applicants must be registered B.Sc Nursing (Basic) or Post Basic B.Sc Nursing (PBBSc) nurses with a minimum of one year of clinical experience, preferably in any critical care setting prior to enrollment.
- Institutional Recognition:
- The applicant must have completed their B.Sc Nursing (Basic) or PBBSc from an institution recognized by the Indian Nursing Council (INC).
- Academic Performance:
- The applicant must have scored not less than 55% aggregate marks in the B.Sc Nursing (Basic) or PBBSc program.
- Selection Process:
- Selection will be based on the merit of an entrance examination and an interview conducted by the competent authority.

- The number of candidates admitted will be based on a ratio of 1 candidate for every 4-5 ICU beds.
