Indira Gandhi Delhi Technical University for Women was founded in 1998 by the Directorate of Training and Technical Education, Govt. of NCT of Delhi, as the first engineering college for women. In 2002, it became a part of Guru Gobind Singh Indraprastha University. The college offers B.Tech programs in four fields: Computer Science Engineering, Information Technology, Electronics & Communications, and Robotics & Automation Engineering.   • Admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by Gurugram University is based on any of the all-Indian Common Admission Tests i.e. CUET UG, CUET PG and other entrance exams & must submit valid test scores not more than 2 years old.
  • The upper age limit is 30 years from the date of commencement of the program.

PhD Admission Process

  • Admission shall be made on the basis of a written Test viz. RAT followed by an interview.
  • The RAT Examination shall be qualifying only with qualifying marks as 50%. A relaxation of 5% marks (from 50% to 45%) shall be allowed for SC/ST/OBC/Differently abled (PD) category to qualify for the RAT Exam.
  •  The syllabus of the RAT examination shall consist of 50% of Research Methodology and 50% subject-specific.
  • The application fee deposited by the applicants is Non-Refundable.

B.Tech (MAE) + MBA (Lateral Entry for Diploma Holders)Women candidates with a 3-year regular Diploma in Mechanical Engineering/Equivalent stream with at least 60% marks (or equivalent CGPA) from a recognized institution.
– Relaxation of 5% for OBC-NCL/Defence (CW) and 10% for SC/ST/PwD candidates.
