JEE Main Exam Pattern 2025: NTA has released the new JEE Main 2026 exam pattern for B.Tech, B. Arch and B. Planning papers. JEE Main 2025 Exam Pattern is divided into JEE Paper 1 for B.Tech and JEE Paper 2 for B. Arch and B. Planning. Aspirants who are going to apply for JEE Mains 2025. This article will discuss the JEE Main Exam Pattern 2025 and JEE Mains 2025 Marking Scheme to better prepare for the exam.

The Joint Entrance Examination, JEE (Main) comprises of two papers. Paper 1 is conducted for
admission to Undergraduate Engineering Programs and Paper 2 is conducted for admission to B. Arch and B. Planning courses in the country.

The JEE Mains 2025 entrance exam will be conducted in Online mode (Computer-Based Test) & offline mode. The duration of this entrance exam is 3 hours in the examination. The multiple-choice questions asked will be asked in the examination of the JEE Mains 2025 exam.

Exam Pattern 2025

The engineering entrance exam will be conducted in two sessions– January and April. Aspirants appearing for JEE Mains can take the exam either in online mode or offline mode for B.E/B. Tech, B. Arch, B. Planning.

Mode of Examination

The JEE (Main) – 2025 is being conducted in the following modes:

  • Paper 1 (B.E. /B. Tech.) in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode.
  • Paper 2A (B. Arch): Mathematics (Part-I) and Aptitude Test (Part-II) in “Computer Based Test (CBT)” mode and Drawing Test (Part-III) in pen and paper (offline) mode, to be attempted on\ drawing sheet of A4 size.
  • Paper 2B (B. Planning): Mathematics (Part-I), Aptitude Test (Part-II), and Planning-Based Questions (Part-III) in Computer-Based Test (CBT) mode.

Language of Examination
