Maharaja Bir Bikram University (MBB College) is the oldest college in Tripura, India. It was established in 2015 offers degrees in Science, Commerce, and Humanities. The college has a large campus that covers 264 acres and is located about 3 kilometers from the center of the city. The college offers three undergraduate programs: BA, B.Com, and B.Sc. Students can apply for either the general course or the honors course. Admission is based on merit, and the merit list will be made according to the marks students have scored in their previous exams.

- Admission to various undergraduate and postgraduate courses offered by Maharaja Bir Bikram University is based on any of the all-Indian Common Admission Tests i.e. CUET UG, CUET PG and other entrance exams & must submit valid test scores not more than 2 years old.
- The upper age limit is 30 years from the date of commencement of the program.
