Admission Procedure
To gain admission in University of Sindh, you need to pass the National Medical and Dental College Admission Test (MDCAT). It’s important to note that eligibility for the exam is all that’s required.
Merit Calculation:
Admission merit will be determined by calculating an Aggregate Percentage of marks. This is done by assigning weightage to the marks obtained by the candidate in various exams.

2. F.Sc./HSSC Pre-Medical / equivalent – 40%
3. MDCAT – 50%

iii. The final calculation in percentage will be rounded up to four decimal points.
iv. No marks will be deducted for the candidate’s extra attempts in the HSSC/equivalent examination beyond two years after passing the SSC/ Matriculation annual examination.
Online Application Process:
The application process will be fully online, with no manual or hard copies accepted. Candidates will be considered for admission once they complete and submit the Online Application Form, along with payment of the non-refundable Processing Fee according to the procedure.

- Visit the Online Admission Portal for Government Medical and Dental Colleges on the UHS website.
- Create an account by providing your Name, Father/Guardian Name, Email ID, and Password.
- Choose your preference for MBBS and/or BDS programs and select seat categories.
- Fill in personal details and contact information on the application form.
- Enter qualification details, including SSC and HSSC marks.
- Provide MDCAT or other admission test scores.
- Select the order of preference for medical and/or dental colleges.
- Upload scanned documents within specified size limits.
- Acknowledge the Undertaking/Affidavit and verify information before submission.
