Eligibility Criteria

Age Limit: The candidates have no age limit for appearing in the CUET (UG). The candidates who have passed the class 12th /equivalent examination or are appearing in, irrespective of their age, can appear in the CUET UG examination. However, the candidates must fulfil the age criteria (if any) of the university they desire to be admitted to.

- For admission to universities through CUET (UG), the respective universities’ existing policies regarding quota, category, relaxation, reservations, qualification, subject combinations, preferences, etc., shall be applicable.
- As the eligibility criteria for admission may be unique for every University, the candidates are advised to visit the University website to which they are applying for their respective programs.
- Candidates are advised to satisfy themselves before applying that they possess the eligibility criteria laid down by the university they are using.
- Mere appearance in the Entrance Test or securing passing marks on the test does not entitle a candidate to be considered for admission to the Programme unless they fulfil the Programme-wise eligibility conditions of the University to which they are applying.

Marking Scheme of Examination
For Multiple Choice Questions: To answer a question, the candidates must choose one option corresponding to the correct or most appropriate answer. However, if any anomaly or discrepancy is found after the process of challenges of the key verification, it shall be addressed in the following manner:
- Correct answer or the most appropriate answer: Five marks (+5)
- Any incorrect option marked will be given minus one mark (-1).
- Unanswered/Marked for Review will be given no mark (0).
- If more than one option is correct, then Five marks (+5) will be awarded to only those who have marked any of the correct options.
- If all options are found to be correct, then Five marks (+5) will be awarded to all those who
- have attempted the question.
- If none of the options is correct, a question is found to be wrong, or a question is dropped, all candidates who have attempted the dropped question will be given five (+5) marks.
CUET Admissions Procedure for B.Pharma
- Merely appearing in CUET (UG) does not confer any right to the candidate for admission to the desired university.
- The selection and admission are subject to fulfilling the admission criteria, eligibility, rank in the merit list, medical fitness, verification of original documents, and other criteria as may be prescribed by the University to the candidate applying.
- Admissions are handled at each Central University (CU) level for their respective programs. After NTA declares the CUET (UG) – 2024 result, the respective CUs will declare the counselling/ admission schedule and merit list based on the CUET (UG) – score and the other criteria of the separate University. For all admission-related procedures/queries, the candidates are advised to refer to the applied university’s website after declaring the CUET (UG) result.
- NTA does not have any role in the preparation of the Merit List.
