Admission Procedure

The Maurya School Gurgaon is primarily meant to cater to the educational aspirations of the students and parents residing in Gurgaon. No discrimination is made in the name of caste, creed, race, status, or gender. We strictly adhere to the guidelines of regulatory bodies such as MHRD, CBSE, and the Directorate of Education. The admission process is designed under the instructions available from time to time. Provisions for admission of children from the economically weaker section is in place under the existing rules.

Classes	Process
Pre-School Admission	Admission is granted purely based on relevant guidelines without any prejudice whatsoever. Parents/ Guardians are required to register their wards online as and when the notification is issued. The admission / Registration form is required to be submitted within the stipulated time. The child seeking Pre-School must have completed 2+ years on or before 31st March in the academic year of admission sought. Registration does not guarantee admission unless the candidate completes the entire process.
Admission in Other Classes	Admission in classes Pre-Primary to IX is subject to the availability of vacancies. Admission criteria and other details are notified as and when applicable.

Document Required

The applicants shall produce the original document at the time of verification and a set of Self-attested photocopies mentioned below.

• Student Birth Certificate issued by the Municipal Corporation with the child’s name mentioned on the certificate.

Residence Proof (Any two):

• Ration card/Smart Card issued in the parents’ name (mother/father having the child’s name.)
• Domicile certificate of the child or his / her parents.
• Voter Identity Card /EPIC of any of the parents.
• Electricity Bill / MTNL Telephone Bill / Water Bill / Passport in the name of any of the parents or child.
• Aadhar Card / Unique Identity Card in the name of any of the parents.
• Admission to the school is subject to document verification listed above and submission of a letter of undertaking, self-attested by both parents in front of the verification team. The project should certify that the correct information and submitted documents are original copies.
• This undertaking will also imply that the parents accept the decision of the school to cancel the registration/admission as final and binding if at any given time, any information or document submitted is found to be wrong/fake/false/incorrect.
